Our recommended deployment method uses BSN.Cloud’s Control Cloud, which offers advanced management and monitoring of your Carousel Cloud digital signage network, including remote diagnostics, reboots, and provisioning of advanced device settings. These same features will not be available to you if you elect to deploy the Carousel Cloud player software manually, as outlined in this article.
We recommend only using this Manual deployment method for demonstrations, quick trials and tests, and other non-production use cases.

Player Setup Instructions
Visit the player setup screen of your Carousel Cloud Account and choose the BrightSign icon.
Copy the link for the player URL.
Paste the link into any browser. This will download a
autorun.zipfile, which will likely be saved to your Downloads folder.
Insert a blank SD card into your computer, and copy this
autorun.zipfile to the SD card. Do not expand the zip file, and do not rename the file. It must be named exactly
autorun.zip, and it must be the only file on the SD card.
Once you have copied the
autorun.zipfile to the blank SD card, safely eject and remove the SD card from your computer, and insert the SD card into your BrightSign device.
Connect your BrightSign device to network, then connect to power.
Over the next 5 to 10 minutes, the BrightSign device will restart several times to configure the player. At the end of the process the Carousel Cloud player registration screen will be displayed. At this point, you can complete the Carousel Cloud player registration process by scanning the QR code on your mobile device, or by visiting the URL shown on the screen.
