To display emojis in your Google Sheet, highlight the content containing emojis. Click the Font dropdown menu and select More Fonts. Search for and add Noto Emoji. Apply this font to your cells.
Due to font limitations, the emojis will display as black-and-white rather than full-color icons. Carousel Cloud does not have a way to override this limitation.
How it Works
Creating the Google Sheets Bulletin in Carousel Cloud
In Carousel Cloud, navigate to your desired zone for displaying the Google Sheets content and select New Bulletin > Dynamic Bulletin > Google Sheets Bulletin
If you haven’t already connected your Google account to Carousel Cloud, click the orange Connect to Google button and then complete the account connection in the pop-up window from Google
Please Note: If the pop-up Google window displays a checkbox for permissions, you must check the box for Carousel to gain access to your Google account
After connecting your Google account to Carousel Cloud, you will then choose which Google Sheets file you want to display in Carousel Cloud by clicking Choose a Spreadsheet and then selecting it from the file picker in the pop-up window
After selecting the Google Sheets file you want to display, configure any additional settings as needed, and then you can simply hit the orange Publish button in the upper right corner of the Google Sheets bulletin screen. The Google Sheets bulletin creation process is complete!
