Carousel Bulletin Impression Reports

Impressions are tracked continuously for bulletins that are set to track. The data is staged each day and then written to an impression report each night. The current day will not be available in the report.

The format of the impression report is shown below.  Each day, each tracked bulletin will generate a line in the downloaded report, this consolidates the impressions so they are more manageable.  The time of impression is conveyed by a count in a time period for every 15 minutes throughout the day and the total is calculated:

The definitions of the report tables are described below.

  • Date - The date of the tracked impression.

  • PageID - The internal id of the page being tracked.

  • Type - Indicates the type of bulletin.

  • Status - The bulletin schedule status.

  • Description - The name of the bulletin.

  • ObjectType - The internal data object type.

  • DateTimeOn - The date that the bulletin is active (ignored when ManualDuration is set).

  • DateTimeOff - The date the bulletin will become inactive (ignored when ManualDuration is set).

  • CycleTimeOn - The time of day the bulletin is scheduled to activate within the date time on/off range (ignore date in cycle field).

  • CycleTimeOff - The time of day the bulletin is scheduled to deactivate within the date range (ignore date in cycle field).

  • ManualDuration - Indicated whether the schedule is set to until manually turned off.

  • DwellTime - The time the bulletin will display on the screen.

  • Days - The days that the bulletin is active.

  • Owner - The internal id of the bulletin's owner.

  • RepeatInterval - The interval that the bulletin is scheduled to repeat in the rotation.

  • SoundEnabled - This setting is no longer used.

  • WebEnabled - Indicates whether or not the bulletin will display on the accessibility site.

  • WordCount - The number of words detected on the bulletin (used to determine automatic dwell time)

  • PreviewUrl - Internal file information.

  • Tags - Tags associated with the bulletin.

  • ZoneID - Represents the internal Zone ID

  • Zone - The name of the zone in which the bulletins appear.

There is a health check that will allow you to easily see how many bulletins are tracked and in which zones those bulletins reside.
