The following steps will allow playback of Carousel Channels from your Mersive Solstice.

Supported Devices

The following device types are currently supported.

• Mersive Solstice Pod (Gen3+)

Player Restrictions

Not all Carousel features are available for Mersive Solstice Players. Below is a list of unsupported features.

• Video Bulletins

• Video Blocks

• Streaming Video

Player Setup Instructions

The following steps will allow playback of Carousel from your Mersive Solstice.

1. Log into Carousel Cloud and navigate to Configure > Players, then select Media Players and Setup New Player.
   

   

2. Select Mersive Solstice from the media player list and Copy the provided Player URL.
   

   

3. If you are using Solstice Cloud, skip to Step 4. If you are using the PC app, paste the link into the Digital Signage Setup tab in the Solstice Dashboard PC application.
   

   

4. If you are leveraging Solstice Cloud you will need to create a new Digital Signage template under Manage -> Templates -> Digital Signage.
   

   

    

   Click “Create New Digital Signage Template”

    

   

    

   Give the Template a name, ensure “Enable Digital Signage” is selected and then paste the link into the “Source URL” section. You can also select a delay for Carousel and which of the default Solstice display elements you want enabled. Save the Template.

    

   

    

   You can then assign the Digital Signage template to any number of Solstice Pods from the Manage -> Pods menu.

    

   

5. Then you may follow the on-screen instructions to register your player. For large deployments, follow the steps in this article to batch register multiple players simultaneously. Once registered, it will begin to display either your initial channel or the channel specified during batch registration.
