Please Note:
When a player noted as needing to be manually updated (in the full list below) has an update available, the dedicated player dashboard will:
Show a prompt (first screenshot) below
Display an orange triangle (second screenshot) in the Version column
Any player noted as auto-update will only display an orange triangle (second screenshot) in the Version column to indicate that the player is not up to date. These players will automatically update when online and are in the maintenance window for that player type

Amazon Signage Stick
Both the operating system and the Carousel Cloud Player app on Amazon Signage Stick players can be updated by:
Doing a manual update in the Dedicated Players dashboard
If left running overnight, they will auto-update overnight and require no action on your part
Android
Depending on the device, Android players can be manually updated through the Google Play store, by installing a new version via USB drive, or using your device management software.
Apple TV
Apple TV players can be manually updated via the App Store or through your Apple MDM platform.
BrightSign
BrightSign players can be manually updated via Carousel Cloud. You can choose to update all of your players at once, or select individual players and update them with the update players action from the dropdown menu. Your players will download and apply the update, then reboot.
ChromeOS
ChromeOS players will auto-update and require no action on your part.
iPad
iPad players can be manually updated via the Apple App Store or through your Apple MDM platform.
LG webOS
LG webOS players will auto-update and require no action on your part.
Mac
Mac players can be manually updated via the Apple App Store or through your Apple MDM platform.
Mersive Solstice
Mersive Solstice players will auto-update and require no action on your part.
Philips Professional
Philips Professional players can be manually updated via USB drive or by using your device management software.
Samsung Tizen
Samsung Tizen players can be manually updated via USB drive or using your device management software.
