RSS stands for real simple syndication. Many major websites provide RSS feeds that will push out informational text, which can be displayed in a Carousel Cloud RSS bulletin.
Please Note:
We check RSS feeds for updates every 15 minutes
Using third-party tools to generate an RSS feed (rss.app, fetchrss, zapier, etc.) may work, but we have no official support available if these third-party feeds do not work as expected in Carousel Cloud
How it Works
Creating the RSS Bulletin in Carousel Cloud
In Carousel Cloud, navigate to your desired zone for displaying the RSS content and select New Bulletin > Dynamic Bulletin > RSS Bulletin
Type or copy and paste your source RSS Feed URL into the Feed URL field
-
Since the source RSS feed most likely contains multiple items or entries, you will need to choose how to display the items or entries in the RSS bulletin. As shown in the screenshots below, the options for managing the RSS bulletin settings can be made from the orange Dynamic and Content tabs at the top of the bulletin editor window.
More information regarding bulletin layout and formatting is explained in this support article.

Please Note: The Dynamic Fields List is a breakdown of all the possible RSS data fields Carousel Cloud can receive, and also lists the specific information we are receiving for a given data field from your source RSS feed
After configuring how you want to display the RSS feed, you can simply hit the orange Publish button in the upper-right corner of the RSS bulletin screen. The RSS bulletin creation process is complete!
