Dynamic web pictures are only a part of RSS feeds.
Suppose you are using an RSS dynamic bulletin to display social media sites using a third-party application. In that case, you can display images from those sources on your bulletin. It only requires a quick edit during the bulletin creation process. Start by creating a new dynamic bulletin.
The next thing to do is click on the layout tab.
Click Blocks.
Now, click on the New block button.
Click the block type drop-down.
Select “Web Picture”.
Now you can move this block to the area where you’d like the image to appear on the bulletin and resize it if you’d like.
It’s important to note that if the feed has NO IMAGE in the feed itself, the area on the template where you have a Picture Block will show up empty, and no image will display. This is not a broken feature but rather how it operates. It’s a best practice to use a feed that always produces images when using this method.
Now that it is in the right location click on the picture drop down on the left.
Here, you’re going to type #ItemImageURL#. This will tell Carousel to pull the image on the feed.
Once you finish that, you enter all of your information on the content and dynamic screens, so it pulls the correct information from the correct source. You can make any other changes in the schedule and extras tabs that you’d like and then click publish.
