Carousel Cloud Player for ScreenBeam - Overview

Player Restrictions

Not all Carousel features are available for ScreenBeam devices. Below is a list of unsupported features.

  • Video Bulletins

  • Video Blocks

  • Streaming Video

  • Interactive Bulletins

Player Setup Instructions

  1. Log into Carousel Cloud and navigate to Configure > Players, then select Media Players and Setup New Player.

  2. Select ScreenBeam from the Media player List and Copy the link for the player URL.

     

  3. Log into your ScreenBeam CMS or devices settings. In the Digital Signage section, enable digital signage and add the Carousel Cloud player URL to the Source URL field and save the settings.

     

     

  4. Once the ScreenBeam enters digital signage mode, the Carousel Cloud player registration screen will be displayed. Then you may follow the on-screen instructions to register your player. For large deployments, follow the steps in this article to batch register multiple players simultaneously. Once registered, it will begin to display either your initial channel or the channel specified during batch registration.
