What kind of help is available to Pro/Enterprise customers?
Our Creative team can provide branding services, where we design and build a personalized Carousel channel using your organization’s logo and branding information. We don’t create your content for you; our goal is to create a channel that matches your style and use case so that the content creation part can be your primary focus.
Tell me about the design process!
After choosing a channel from the Content Library as the starting point, we’ll create a design mock-up for you to see/revise/approve. The finished channel will include icons and customizable templates to accompany your unique channel background. We can change the colors, fonts, or background image but not the size or shape of the zones.
I need help making a unique/specialized Carousel channel. Can you do that?
If you haven’t already, please check out our ever-growing Content Library, which may already have what you’re looking for! We regularly add new resources there, including pre-made channels and unique templates - many of which are customizable. If you have an Enterprise account, our team can work with you to create a completely custom channel design to accommodate unique zone or channel dimensions for specific use cases.
What happens when my branded channel is finished/ready?
We’ll send you a single channel file that you can import to your Carousel Cloud account. Once you decide on a naming convention for your new channel, you can duplicate the channel as many times as needed. We have instructions for importing or duplicating a Carousel Cloud channel here. You will need an Admin user to help install the channel if you do not have Admin privileges.
Can I quickly change or update the channel background image in the future? What about changing the channel layout?
We recommend choosing the layout based on the kind and amount of content you want to show and utilizing additional separate channels if you have multiple signage scenarios with different use cases. Once installed on your Carousel Cloud account, the channel is entirely yours to edit, but changing the background image OR the size & shape of the channel’s zones may disrupt the seamless look of your channel. Our Content Library contains pre-made background images and Illustrator files for fellow DIYers to help you start tinkering.
Should I choose an HD or 4K resolution for my branded Carousel channel? What if my players/displays are a mix of both?
It is best to match your channel resolution to your hardware as closely as possible to maintain the best image quality without scaling. Suppose you have a mix of different hardware capabilities. In that case, Carousel Cloud players can scale the final images up or down to match their output resolution nicely, so you likely won’t run into issues either way. HD is a safe choice if you’re unsure of your hardware specs.
