The following article outlines a process to migrate BrightSign Players from previous content management systems (such as Carousel 7) to Carousel Cloud.
Prerequisites
An active Carousel Cloud subscription

The serial numbers of your BrightSign players.
Please Note:
Player Proxy Settings do not persist through the migration process. If your players require a proxy to connect to the internet, they cannot connect to BSN.cloud addresses. To work around this limitation, please remove the players from the proxy policy before the migration, then re-provision your devices in BSN.cloud to reapply the proxy settings once they are migrated.
Unique static IP information may be lost unless entered in the device setup in BrightAuthor:connected
Remove any Route53 or Known URL entries pointing to other setups.
It is necessary to set the firmware version to update to the current production version to ensure proper operation in Carousel Cloud. Failure to do so may require manually updating the firmware on each player in some situations.

After completing the required steps as noted in the typical BrightSign setup article, reboot one of your players. If it is on a capable firmware version, it should connect to BSN.cloud, pick up its new device setup, and successfully provision into BrightAuthor:connected with a device record being created in the ‘Network’ tab.
If rebooting the player does not successfully provision the player into BrightAuthor:connected, you will need to reformat the microSD card and then factory reset the player.
After a factory reset has completed, if needed, reattempt device provisioning into BrightAuthor:connected
Once you have confirmed that a single player can successfully complete the provisioning process into BrightAuthor:connected, you can now replicate your working process to the rest of your remaining BrightSign players.
After your players fully provision into bsn.cloud, install the BRS Carousel Cloud app, and display the activation screen as shown below, you can then activate the players in Carousel Cloud using the steps outlined in this article: Carousel Cloud Player Registration
